_______________________________________________

I decided to re-do the Moon card (I will be getting to the others soon) in the traditional form, especially since I really disliked the other one. It just didn’t really convey any sort of meaning, other than being pretty. I managed to do most of the symbology, but I left out the raindrops because I felt it would be too much all at once.

The crayfish symbolizes the simplicity of the mind at the beginning of one’s journey to a higher consciousness. The influence of the dog and wolf are symbols of our tamed mind and our primal instincts, obstacles to avoid on the journey. The journey is finally over when one reaches the gates, symbolizing the fact that we have attained a higher consciousness.

Of course, there are many different meanings for each card as it will vary from person to person, so my meaning and your own could very well differ.

I don't know anything about tarot so I won't comment on that, but you image is very well done. Love how you did the river, very clever! :)

I like this, very well put together. c:
For myself, the journey with the gate at the end has been how I've been feeling. Interesting...

Very cool design, with well-thought out symbolism. It's great to see such creative usage of photo-manipulation.

Consider the daffodil. And while you’re doing that, I’ll be over here, looking through your stuff.

Thank you ^_^
Mm, for me too. One of the reasons the Moon is among my favorite cards :)
